Clarence Edward Millard passed away April 14, 2007 at the age of 88 in Vancouver, Wash.. He was born September 29, 1918 in Seaside, Ore.. He lived in Camas and Washougal most of his life. He was a retired Bus Driver for the Evergreen School District and also for the City of Vancouver. He served four years in the Oregon National Guard and an additional five years in the United States Army during WWII earning the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal. He was a member of VFW Post 4278 of Camas/ Washougal. He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Millard of 60+ years of marriage; sons, Larry G. Millard of Albemarle, North Carolina, Terry E. Millard of Vancouver, Wash., and Darrell L. Millard of Forest Grove, Ore.; daughter, Carolyn G. Hoffman of Vancouver, Wash.; brother, Leonard Millard of Vancouver, Wash.; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Bethel Community Church in Washougal, Wash., at 1pm Monday, April 23, 2007. Private Burial at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Ore., at a later date for the immediate family. Memorial Contributions may be made in lieu of flowers in Bud Millard's name to the VFW Post 4278 / Bethel Community Church.
