Bud Butts
June 16, 1926 - February 1, 2016
Kermeth L. (Bud) Butts passed away on February 1, 2016. He was 89 years old. Bud was born on June 16, 1926 in Maddock, North Dakota to his parents Cushman and Edna Butts. Bud served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and was a lifetime member of the Shick-Ogle Post #4278 V.F.W. He has been a Camas resident since 1948. Bud retired from Crown Zellerbach as an electrical supervisor; he was a member of A.W.P.P.W Local #5. Bud was also a lifetime member of Vancouver Lodge #823 B.P.O.E, as well as the Clark County Saddle Club. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Donna Butts, his 3 daughters: Katherine, Lori (husband Greg) and Judy, his son Richard (wife Barbara), 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, his brother Duane and his 2 sisters: Joan and Erlys. Bud was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Marvin, and his sister Mavis. A celebration of life service will take place on Friday, February 12, 11 AM at Zion Lutheran Church in Camas.
